Does anyone own this book? If so, can you tell if it is worth buying?? Thanks in advance.

I have it. It's definitely worth getting. Especially if you are able to get it cheap. Amazon has it for $25. It's got a lot of great info.

I agree it's worth getting although a little short on interesting or rarely seen pictures - which was disappointing. I picked up the 1981 Raiders storybook recently and was pleasantly surprised to see that it contained a couple of stills I'd never seen before. The same cannot be said of the ultimate guide

I love this book, the best Indy book I own. It's real informative, and gives you a pretty accurate description of the movies. Doesn't explain about everything (emitting the whipping scene in TOD).

I, too, recently purchased this tome off of eBay, but actually ended up getting two! One was a used library copy with a page missing (no biggie), and a pretty beat up dust jacket... the other a minty-crisp hardcover in great shape with all it's pages, and a tight binding.
I'm currently awaiting my copy of "The Complete Making of Indiana Jones" right now from a recently eBay Buy-It-Now. This one was listed as brand new, and came in just over $20 bux. Hope to be surprised with the first-edition hard-cover, but will be happy with the paperback just the same. Now I just need "The Lost Journal of Indiana Jones", and I should be all caught up.
The 'Bay is the place to get them books.

Did you try AbeBooks? Usually can find really great deals there.
