Since the price of Todd's SW1917 has gone up it is out of my budget now. I was looking at the rubber version that Western Stage Props sells - I won't be shooting it anyway. It looks good in the picture, but they always do.
Anyone have some experience with this replica?
Thanks!

That has to be a mistake on Todd's website or something because it's advertised as 15% off! It's still $199.95 at his eBay store. Anyway, to answer your question, I have a recast of that replica which is really nice. I also have the Webley Mk IV that Western Stage Props sells. It's cast in a better material than resin. I'm not sure what it is exactly because it described as rubber... but it's not pliable. The Webley is nice, and the Smith & Wesson is very detailed. I can't, however, tell you if the paint apps are as good as in the picture, though. I haven't see one in person. I hope I was of some help. -Josh

Thanks for the info Josh.
I am talking with Wade Egan about his replica now. It looks very nice, plus he do the holster to go with it. It's still not cheap, but I have heard very good things about Wade's quality.

Wade does excellent work. I have one of his Webley WG's and I painted it up. Fantastic quality. I also have a gun belt, whip holder and bag strap from Wade. He's a really cool guy, too. Best wishes in your endeavors. -Josh

Ended up with a Tanaka from Todd's ebay store. The price had not gone up there yet, so I figured it was my last shot to get one that was somewhat within my budget. Not happy about spending all that money, but no point in cutting corners now 8-S
