I like those a lot KT. Are they as comfortable as they look? Cheers, G-MANN

I like those a lot KT. Are they as comfortable as they look? Cheers, G-MANN They are the same sort of fabric that chinos are made from, so very comfortable. A little embarrassed... I measured a little too tight so they are very fitted! So won't be posting pics with me wearing them until I loose about 10lb! ;D

KT, I really like these in terms of style. The color's wrong (ever since owning a few of the Saddle Oak Creek's it's hard to look at standard Khaki as acceptable) for Raiders pants but the general shape looks great! That's the one thing about made to measure that concerns me more than color. Getting the rise measurement correct so that there's still enough room for the crotch without looking either too short or too "dumpy". Overall, these are a great everday type of Indy pants. Where'd they come from (Magnoli?) and what would you change that didn't fit right based on self measurements and how they came out?

Yes, they were supposed to be this colour: But look more like this: And nope not Magnolis! I seemed to have measured everything a bit too tight, waist, front rise back rise. ;D I want to make the flaps a little more pointy so will have a chat with the maker about that and about the colour.

Ok, fess up KT. You bought a sewing machine and are now making indy pants aren't you? Those do look pretty good, comfortable, and the machine washable factor is important to me. I think the color could be fixed with a mixture of Rit dyes, so that's not as big a deal. So where did you have them made... um, I mean.... when will you start taking orders? Ken

Ken Lol, no if I was making them you'd never get them! I'm debating whether I should get another pair made with pointier pockets. I also want to get a pair that fits first! But I'll let you guys know.

Hey Kt.
I think you might be on to something with those trousers. They look pretty damn good to me. I don't think the color is that off...they could stand to be a bit darker, perhaps. And I would also go for a more pointy pocket flap, though not by much.
I know you haven't annouced anything official yet, but I would be interested in a pair or two, depending on the final details and price.
Nice work!

Pocket flap more like this perhaps?

That top swatch looks good, KT, and these recent pocket scallops are more like it. Whatever you're up to over there, keep it up.

The pocket flap is looking better on that one for sure. I know the pockets vary depending on the scene, and some have a much pointier, more exagerated flap than you have there. But, that does look very good to me, and it certainly close enough for most everyone's eye.
Afterall, if people are willing to buy cotton pants instead of wool, screen accuracy to the finest detail can't be a super high priority.
Looks good,
Ken

These pants look really nice!
I can't wait to hear where they are from and what the price is.

The top pics were their first attempt, they say they can do more pointy. I will probably try to fix up the details and get a second sample done. Then I'll point you in the right direction. I'll send them the photoshopped pic as ref.
These will come in at about $50 a pair plus shipping. The material is a chino weight cotton so not denim thick.
They are made to your size specs and take about 3-4 weeks from order to delivery.

Hey KT, is the color pretty set in stone? That pocket flap looks great by the way.

Pocket flap more like this perhaps? Perfecto! 50 bucks a pop ain't bad for custom tailored, machine washable trousers...ain't bad at all. Speaking of color, would these be available in any other colors, not just that dusty / taupe-ish / Indy brown? -GCR

Yeah, I prefer the machine washed Chino material for my pants and I like the color of the pants in the second shot and the pocket flaps. I agree that getting a pair of custom made pants for $50 is a pretty good deal.

There will be other colours to choose from but only one weight of fabric. I'm trying to pin down the closest possible to an Indy colour first and get a good flap shape for them to use as a template.

Ok round 2. Colour is still not right but the pockets are looking good! I've asked for some colour swatches as the images they've sent me are no good for matching.

Those are looking great KT. I'll probably be interested, depending on shipping costs to the U.S. I like the material choice.

And so the search continues....
Round 2 looks great, KT. The pockets are a vast improvement. The color on these isn't so bad, either. Underneath all the other gear they'll blend right in. I like 'em. So the belt loops are hit and miss with these guys? Might have them lined up on one order and not on another?
Those pocket scallops look great! Do you feel you've got a solid pair of Indy pants for the getup with these?

I've ended up with a nice pair of washable close enoughs that fit properly. So am pleased. The loop placement can probably be specified too.
I'm also happy with how they followed my instructions on how to revise the pocket flaps to the letter.
If I get a good colour from them I'll pass on the details.

KT, the pants are nice, but the Lady Canyon's gotta have the cavlary twill wool stuff...

KT, the pants are nice, but the Lady Canyon's gotta have the cavlary twill wool stuff... Well if that the case then you have Noel Howard made to measure. Might as well take the plunge!

KT, These are looking great! I think they nailed the pocket flaps this time around. Even the color doesn't look too far off, a bit too gray perhaps, but not by much. Well done, I'm in for sure once you get the details worked out, as long as they stay reasonably affordable. Thanks for taking this project on, KT! -GCR
