after the last memorabilia I accidently left my bullwhip at the bottom of my rucksack, and it stayed there for several months accumulating all kinds of dirt, dust, gunk and so i cleaned it up with silicon spray to get rid of all the debris, then polished it up and where the whip had rubbed against the inside of the rucksack made the leather go nearly black....
now it looks FANTASTIC like this and looks like its been on a hundred adventures and scaped against the dirt roads at high speed......
look how it turned out, I would never deliberatly do this kinsd of thing to such an expensive prop, but once all the crap was cleaned off and polished up it looks amazing now so im going to leave it like this for effect, so it now looks more indyfied just like my jacket and matches the proper dirtied down look as its meant to be
so thats how to distress a whip people, leave it in a rucksack for a few months!
