Well I finally found the Pirate's Treasure. But I have to return it to the ride and my costume...

Hey there, Does anyone know where to find a good prop of the holy grail itself? I found 2 online and one of them is a cheap one at 40 dollars but its all gold and not screen accurate at all. The other looks good but its about 150 dollars. Does anyone know where to get a mid range screen accurate grail cup?

You could buy one of the cheaper Grail props, and then mold some clay around it.

Or if you're feeling adventurous, you could try making one yourself, following the instructions on this website - IndyQuest.NlJust click "Props" on the left side, then "Grail Cup" on the right, and it's got full instructions Cheap as chips!

It'd be a damn site easier/cheaper to make your own ;D ;D ;D
And it least you'd have something to show for all your effort at the end of the day!

Buck you win for most creative idea. LOL. But stargate I think I might actually make my own, thanks for the link! That website is awesome and the grail actually doesn't seem that hard to make.

No probs, glad to be of help Found that site a fair while back, and it's a cracking resource, especially if you're wanting to put together a Grail Diary as that section has lots of info! And to say it's a Dutch website, the English translations are very good indeed. Hope you get on well with the project anyway, and do remember to post up pics as you go along

I made my own grail... not SA, though. When I was done, it had a different shape. For a die-hard fan, it's pretty obvious... for the casual observer, they'd think it was just right.

Here's what I've come up with a few weeks ago... Here it is compared to my first attempt:

By far the best Holy Grails I've seen come from a chap over on the COW forum by the name of Restaurajones. While not cheap in price they are also not cheap in quality. For my money there are none better.
