fifthchamber, I totally agree with you here! And the main thing is that USW make really nice jackets (as far as I could see from other guys' reviews here and some other forums:))

Yeah, I had my account for the COW approved, PMed Sgt. Hack there, got a reply really fast (though there is a time difference). He could not provide the tracking number at once, but promised to get to the bottom of this issue. I really hope to get it soon:)

I've just noticed that the price of the VIP Signature Indy jacket has increased up to $459.00 on the USW site. Mine was bought for$299 (+shipping charge)

Glad it all worked out well! Sarge is a good bloke so I was sure you'd be sorted out one way or the other, but I'm glad he's on the case for you!
And yeah, you got a great jacket...I'm envious, and working out the quickest way to get my finances in order to get another Jacket soon..(Either Wings, or Wested, but since my last was Wested...Perhaps a US Wings?)...Show us the photos and let us know what happens eh?

Yeah, finally I received the tracking number, thanks to Sgt. Hack, Lisa, Amber and Myke:D
The shipment left the US on January, 23 and it hasn't been released by the Russian customs yet!
I really hope I'll like the jacket:)

Glad to hear this is (almost) resolved Easy Rider It's a pain in the backside when customs decide to hold your stuff, and if Russian customs are anything like British HMRC, there's nothing really you can do other than just wait. Hopefully they won't take too long to release it though, and you can start basking in the joy of your Indy jacket  |

Ok, finally I received my VIP Indy style jacket by USWings:) The USW guys put my name on the parcel, I travel a lot and decided to use my wife's name for order (the address is the same, the names are different). But I was home yesterday, when a post officer phoned me and said they had a shipment for me:) So, I was lucky enough to get the jacket as soon as it arrives to my town! Another great piece of luck is the sizing - when ordering, I was imagining a jacket a bit larger in size, but whet I tried it on - the fit was perfect - not too bulky, but not too tight as a glove - the "golden mean" - you know what I mean? It fits as if it was custom tailored for me! Looking forward to warmer weather to wear it (now it's too much snow outside). Oh, yeah, the quality is really top-notch, I do like the color and grain of the leather, the stitching is just perfect!!! At a price of $299 (I ordered it in January) - it IS a steal! Here are some pics, there are some wrinkles on the leather (the jacket spent about a month in a box), but I hope the wrinkles will disappear in a few days as the jacket is on a hanger now...     So, I'm quite happy with it, THANKS, US Wings!!! |

Congrats! You have a fine looking jacket there. Wear it well. P.S. The best way to get the wrinkles out is the wear it, wear it, wear it! There will still be wrinkles, but they'll be the ones that you create. |

twistedotter, thanks! And I know how to get rid of those wrinkles:) Hope to start wearing the jacket within a month, as the snow outside melts! Looking forward to this jacket's being "broken in" And guys, sorry for the crappy pictures, I'm pretty sure I'll take some other ones outdoors with natural daylight (maybe in April) |
