Hey everyone, as some of you know, I have my jacket, shirt, pants and soon fedora, so now I need the boots... I have heard good things of the Aldo, but I wanted to know what most people think are the most screen accurate for your buck, and ones that preferably last longer than I have heard the Todd's do....
Obviously the Alden's are the best, but what is everyone's general consensus for the next best cheaper boot within the $50-200 range.... preferably around $100
(I am considering Aldo, but they seem a bit different.)

Haven't these Aldo Rodiguez not been said to be more accurate? And they're cheaper to-boot (pun intended)

That's because I modified the post to make more sense, without fully re-reading the original post. A common fault amongst us dyslexics ;D
Hoping to get the Aldo Rodiguez at some point, but only after seeing them in the flesh, and getting to try them on. I've only ever bought one pair of footwear without first trying them on, and thankfully they fit perfectly. But it's not something that will be quickly repeated!

Aldens are definitely the best, but for a cheaper budget Aldo makes some nice ones. Todd is also going to make his boots better, with the same soles as Aldens. You could wait for those, but I don't know when he'll come out with them. It may not be for a while.

Those look alright. The soles are like soles on shoes. But they do look pretty good.

Buck, when I read your post, I thought that you said the sole looks too large for Indy's butt. ;D
This little guy would've helped the momentary confusion: ,

Don't get the rodiguez. I've seen it in person at the Aldo store. Do yourself a favor and get the Diangelos by aldo. All the angles of the diangelos taken in the brown color make the boot look different. To get a better angle, look at the black version on their website. I bought these boots and have seen them in the flesh...they are perfect. They literally match Aldens so much, even the stitch lines are a match! The only differences with them are the darker soles and the lack of speed hooks. The moccasin stitched toe is a tanish color, which accents the boots extremely well, just like Alden 403's. Out of the box, these things are the closest you're going to get to the Aldens you see in the films at an extremely reasonable price. right now they're only $69.99. That's cheaper than Todd's boots and you can actually wear these for a year and not have to worry about them falling apart.

I guess it depends on what type of shoes you want, the Rodiguez look tougher and are actually boots. Though the Diangelo look more dressy and don't seem like they can take as much of a beating but I would have to see them in person. I guess it depends if your going for something more screen accurate or stronger and tougher.

I think the Rodiguez look more like Indy's boots, but that's just me And it's handy that they're the cheaper pair!

Thats what I thought too, You know since there both on sale maybe you could order both, and see which one you like better. Then send back the pair you didn't like and get a refund. just a thought
