Well, having waited for what seems like an eternity, I finally stumbled across the most fantastic thing I've ever seen - a Wested Indy jacket in my size and budget! This last Sunday (Boxing Day) I was perusing Wested's website, and decided to check out their "Clearance" section, just for a laugh. Having seen this jacket, a 46R Raiders in washed goat, I decided to investigate further. Seeing as the price was right (£100), and the description said it was a "custom made", I knew it had to be a real Wested (i.e. made in England). After checking the size guide, all seemed good to go, so I decided to take the plunge. And it arrived this morning It's hardly been off my back all day, it's so comfortable, perfectly fitting, and looks amazing!! Unfortunately I've not been able to get any decent photos of it, as we've had some horrible weather, and it's just not right to take photos in artificial room lighting. So I promise to try and get some as soon as possible, but this jacket is aaaaammmmaaaaazzziiiiiinnnggg!!!

Congrats on your Wested! And I'm glad it came to you as quickly as it did. Steven

I'm glad too, the waiting would've killed me! When I heard the van door slam shut outside, it was like a scene from some cartoon, because there must've been a ploom of smoke behind me as I rushed down the stairs to the front door Thankfully they shipped it via DHL, who are usually pretty darn fast and very reliable. So from it being "Dispatched" about 14:10 yesterday to reaching my front door around 10:00 this morning, that's pretty good!

Congratulations man! I know the feeling waiting for something to arrive. I wait by the door or window and wait for the mailman. Post pics when you can.

Yeah, I know what you mean, Noah. Every time we go to our neighborhood mailbox (can't see it through our window), we're always hoping there'll be the next Netflix in there. Steven

It's a bummer when you don't receive it right? But awesome when you get it!

Really? I'd probably just get an Indy-Style Airsoft Revolver, but oh, well. Steven

Well as my dad's at work tomorrow/later today, I'll be able to utilise his camera tripod and hopefully get some decent shots Failing that, I'll ask my mum to take some Unfortunately I've not got a close-enough outfit to go with it, so will have to wear what's most appropriate. And if I can find my old leather G3 sling, that'll get stuck on my shoulder bag to make it more Indy-esque!

I know the feeling of finding that perfect jacket that's just slightly used and comes with a discount, yet is your perfect size. Congratulations on your find. Looking forward to pictures. Here of late, Wested's Clearance Corner has seemed thinner and thinner since I began checking back in March or whenever. In fact, just a couple of weeks ago, I found it complete empty. There's only one jacket in there right now-- this one, and I'm assuming that jacket isn't related to the one you ordered.

Actually mine wasn't used - it was one that somebody had ordered and then not paid So there loss was my luck! I know what you mean about the sparsity of products on there lately - there were 4 up when I found mine, but now there's just one. Perhaps it's a sign that Wested are getting better recognition nowadays, and more people are happy with their products? I don't know But yes, sorry for the lack of pictures folks, we did try today but it's been really busy dealing with the aftermath of New Year's eve, and trying to get the house sorted out. We didn't get round to it in the end, but hopefully we'll manage it within the next few days. Yet again though, the jacket's barely been off my back today It's been pretty cool here too (just above 1*C), and with only a tshirt and short-sleeve shirt underneath the jacket, I've been relatively comfortable!

Things just get better and better ;D After getting back to work today, my supervisor said that the clothing allowance they were going to give me could be used on "any smart-casual clothing", and not just a suit! So after a short discussion, she's agreed that I can buy some more Indy gear Have just ordered a shirt, pair of trousers, and the stone-washed denim version of Wested's Raiders jacket ;D WIN!

Congrats! And it's good that your boss is nothing like Ms. Hurst. (From the Christmas Play my church holds) Ms. Hurst doesn't even let her employees have a Christmas party. Steven

Yeah, my supervisor's quite a cool person, and very easy to get on with There were some conditions to be met with this allowance, but after talking it through with her, she said that I could easily meet those with Indy gear ;D Just glad it'll get into my collection - but make no mistake, this stuff is going to get worn and well too!

The Wested Indy shirt (cotton poplin) and Wested Indy pants (wool cavalry twill) Should be very well built stuff given the materials used, and judging by the quality of my jacket! My dad actually had a short-sleeve Wested shirt years ago, which was fairly similar to the Indy shirt. It was a gorgeous piece of clothing, and unforuntately only fit me for a few years. Pics *will* be taken once everything arrives - think I owe it to the jacket to wait until everything's here now ;D
