I ordered it november 29th and received it december 17....so not to long await, love the look of the jacket, though I think the length might be alitte short, I'm not sure how to upload photos on here. I'm not very computer savy, but when I figure it out I would like to get some opinions, I got the worn hide look , its looks very much like novapelle though, any help with uploading photos would be helpful.

You can upload your photos to a photo hosting site, like Photobucket, flickr, etc. I use Photobucket, then copy the IMG link and paste it here. Congratulations on your new jacket! Hopefully I was able to help you upload the photos so we can see it.  |

I ordered my ROLA Authentic Lamb/ Combo pants and shirt on Nov 29 as well... it's now Dec 20... and nothing!!!! Called him Dec 10th finally to ask why email said canceled then processing, and asked when it would ship, he said waitng on pants were supposed to get in Tues Dec 14, but he would ship separately if I wanted... so I am starting to get a bit annoyed, but my question for you is did you get a tracking number or any notification they had shipped? or did they just show up?

A few days ago I email gemma to find out if it had been shipped yet, the next day she replied that it had been shipped and that I would have it early next week...the next day I then received an email that said my jacket had been " dispatched ", then about two days later it was at my house. I have two custom wested jackets I got them both in alittle over two weeks after ordering, so I guess I've just had good luck, I've read alot about long waits to receive jackets from wested on here, however that hasn't been my experience

Just a little note on the conditions in the UK at the moment. Travel and air travel has been severely limited and that will include postal services. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12034317Wested is out in the country, they get particularly badly hit when it snows as they are up a very narrow country road. |

Yea I emailed them 3 times and never got a response, finally had to call, talked to a guy I believe Peter, he said he would be shipping out soon, but that was 10 days ago... as for the weather, yea my area in the States got hit bad last week. My University was canceled for 2 days since we got 2 feet, and 2 of our interstates were shut down...
I was just wondering if they send a notice out before they ship because I will be none to happy if the guy I talked to lied to me after I paid for 2 separate shipping costs. It's now been 22 days and I have never even gotten an email back from them. If you order something and they don't have it in stock, they should have it listed as out of stock! I will be contacting Paypal by weeks end if I do not have a response.

I hate to complain and all, but for $422 at least (Stinking) email me back! I now know that they hae been getting emails thanks to you, and they just chose to ignore my emails. I was very nice in them, but now I feel if I do not have a response by weeks end, I will be contacting PayPal... as I have been ignored and LIED to.
____ I just sent them an email from a separate email outlining my concern with my order and requesting an update. I did not mention going to paypal, but I will if I do not have a response soon... Also will try calling tomorrow... Their customer service cannot be called that since they do 0 Customer service... I hate to sound angry and bitter, but ignoring a customer for 20 days makes the customer feel they have been ripped off of $422

Ok I got some pics on photobucket, just use the link I used in the previous post, I would appreciate any comments on the fit of the jacket, as I said I thought I might be abit too short.
Jedimaster, sorry to hear about your trouble with wested, I've heard of people waiting up to two months to receive their orders, but it is strange that we ordered our things the same day & we live pretty close (relatively speaking...I'm in buffalo NY), but I received my order but you haven't yet...that I cant explain, I do know I never received a tracking number which is why I had to email gemma in the first place., nevertheless I hope you get your package soon.

I also want to mention that on december 16th I ordered that female flight jacket on westeds website ( a christmas present for my mother) the next day the 17th I received an email that it had been dispatched, the flight jacket came today the 20th.....so in five days total I received my order despite the bad wheather here & in europe, so perhaps something got screwd up down the line with your order or maybe its being held with customs ( I've heard of that happening)....but I would give it more time, I'm sure it'll show up.

first off, Jacket looks awesome.. I'm worried mine wont fit right, didn't do a custom.
I moved my comment to the Wested Customer Service thread.... as despite carrying on conversation on here, it was off-topic... I hope you check it out, and join with me in the cause! P.S. if my Wested stuff shows and is awesome I will praise Wested as you did when you got your jacket... but until that time, I can only be jealous you got yours when ordered on same day as me loll

Long time lurker, first time poster. Figured this was a good thread to post in.
Well, two weeks ago I finally took the plunge and ordered a Wested Last Crusade. I had seen a Wested pre-distressed Cowhide from a friend and just fell in love with it. From that moment I knew I was going to get one soon. I didn't get a custom jacket as a 46 tends to fit me perfectly. I also knew their standard Last Crusade jacket was Lambskin and therefor be softer/thinner then my friends cowhide. But I didn't mind. So I placed an order January 20th and by the next day my order was being "processed". Come the following Tuesday (25th) I sent them a short Email just wondering how long it usual takes until the jacket is dispatched. I got a response the next day saying they were sold out but would be making more and my jacket would ship within 7 days. I certainly didn't mind. To my surprise on Friday (28th) I got an email saying my jacket shipped. I followed the tracking of it via DHL as it shipped all the way to here in Canada.
It's Monday afternoon and I've had my new jacket for about 5 hours now. Have to say I absolutely love it. Just sitting around doing everyday things has already taken a little of that new "shine" off. It fits perfectly too. In all honestly this just makes me want a custom Raiders in thicker Cowhide all the more. Anyways, I've used this site as a source of information for a while as I've wanted a genuine Indy jacket for some time. I couldn't be happier with Standard Wested last Crusade. Thanks to all the many contributors.

Indyloverforever - glad to hear you're enjoying your Wested  They do make some gorgeous bits of kit, and if you can find time to get it off your back, remember to get some pics! I've yet to get any decent ones of mine yet, as we've got really crappy light here at the moment (weather, etc). |

Just to join the "chorus" so-to-speak, I sent off an order today for a "Worn-look Cowhide" Raider Custom Jacket with a few small changes to the design based on something I'd seen over on COW...Slightly wider collars and an added label ("Leather concessionaires") were the requests... Basic sized 46 Jacket, but with slightly shorter sleeves since the regular 46 is a touch too long I feel (They've shortened on my "off-hook" 46LC, with some work, but still I'd prefer a touch less on the sleeve, so went for a 44.5 this time), zipper left in dulled brass (?), since I prefer the darker look to the shiny Nickel version of the original.. Nothing else changed... We'll see how it comes out when it arrives!!

No doubt mate! I'll put them up for criticism and advice on the NEXT one! Heh.. I'd like to think that having two will be enough... But I'm guessing that'll be a long nooooo... So..
Will post them up when it comes (Unless it's a shock and I ordered from a different "Wested" and end up with a plastic Mac-type object instead.... Doubtful, but hey... ;-)
I'm still wondering about how close to okay the collar will end up being.... I guessed at about 2cm's added to a "normal" reg. LC Jacket (Based on the one I have at home), and that's going on memory since I'm at work now and can't check.. But just a touch wider would hit it, so perhaps just 1cm or so bigger works better? I'd like feedback on that from anyone here?
