Uuh...Apparently so ! I am now wondering if I will wear gear to attend. Maybe a tweed suit, bow tie and fedora would be appropriate for an archaeology exhibit ?

Great pics! They're of (respectively) Willie's sacrifice dress, a painting of Pankot Palace, Grail writings, Sir Richard's Shield, the Holy Grail and a false grail, and travel things.
Did I get all of them right? :-P

Pretty close !! The second IS a Pankot Palace painting...actually a matte painting used in an effect shot in the TOD movie. The third one is of the grail tablet, it's rubbing and the friar's manuscript in LC. The last one is actually of Oxley's letter sent to Mutt by Marion in CS.

Canyon: Thanks dear! Yep, t'was great! We stayed for at least 3 hours going back and forth through the exhibit, we got there at the opening ( 10 a.m. ) and they were about 60-80 people... When we left there was an hour- and- a- half waiting line. The exhibit is split in two different areas. On one side, you got the movie props, and beside you got the real stuff, documents, pictures and items from real archeological findings. Which there are not too many for those real archeology enthusiasms. I would have thought the opposite! The exhibit starts with "Raiders" and each movie has its own distinct area. The last thing you see at the exhibit is a full size "alien"( from Crystal skull... but you already knew from which movie I guess! ) sitting in its chair! An incredible sight!! I'm glad we finally get to see some movie props/costumes/ from our favorite movies right here in Montreal, Québec. It seems everything related to movies exhibits happens in the States or in Europe ( like SW celebrations etc...). Of course I will send some more pics to Stef to post soon... Salut!

I went to the exhibit today and managed to take 123 photos & 2 videos and only got caught by an employee once!
The "no photography" restriction is puzzling because the Lucasfilm Exhibit Manager, Kyra Bowling, said that photographs would be allowed. It's the Montreal Science Centre who is to blame.
That said, the exhibit is EXCELLENT!

Very impressive !! Let's see them !! You must have taken them early in the day. As when we went at 10 in the morning only exhibit staff were watching...but approaching noon there were pairs of security guards patroling around the exhibit... Here are a couple of mine I forgot to post earlier... Indy's tweed suit at Marshall College in Crystal SkullIndy's books about Mayan language and the Nazca lines...

I also got caught by 1 employee while I was filming the matte painting, she only asked me to shut down my camera, so I did I mean, really... today with all those cell phones, iPhones etc... it's a joke establishing a rule like that

Thanks for the new comments Jason and Josh ! More you say ? Here are some pictures from my brother Jacques (Ajacks)... The very first display Indy's gear from Crystal skull...and part of mineI will try to show his pics in order of the exhibit which followed the order of the movies...remember that all pictures were taken without flash. My shadow... I was actually behind that giant screen (where the scene of the Tanis digs at sunset was projected) at the begining of the exhibition...I was actually passing between the screen and projector as my brother got that shot from the other side. The Chachapoyan idol of fertility...Marion's outfit at the Raven bar...Staff of Râ headpiece...Yours truly examining actual archaeological artifacts...(in one of the real archaeology sections) The lost Ark...They was much more to see in the Raiders section, (production sketches and paintings, well of souls sarcophagus, Belloq's Jewish ritual outfit) but as mentionned before, it was forbidden to take pictures and difficult to take some discretly...so that's it for Jacques' Raiders pics. Next post Temple of Doom !!

I like flashless photos better than flash. Flash photos look artificial to me. Also, the camerawork is nice, it's worth at least the price of a ticket to Marrakesh. Steven

It's really a shame this isn't coming to the US I really want to see it.... anyways. hey guys sorry I've been gone for so long.. got busy with school, also coming here was helping me spend money I don't have, and 3rd, I kept trying to get back in and couldn't... kept telling me there was no account associated with the name or email address, so I created a new 1, searched for my old name to see if I was banned for some reason, logged out, entered it, and got back in....
