In this thread, I'll be listing scam-ers I know about, or sellers that appear to be scam-ers or using questionable selling practices.
First is eBay seller farahnadeem. Let's look at three of his active auctions.
Seen those pictures before? Maybe at flightjackets.com? Item location for all jackets is laurel, MD, Pakistan. That's not really good news. Item description says: "Note: Accessories like zips etc could be different from images due to availability issues." Huh. So, they're basically covering their rear ends by saying that the jackets won't look the same as those in the pictures. Clever. Their return policy also sucks. "RETURNS WILL BE ALLOWED IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES BUT SHIPPING WILL NEVER BE REFUNDED. ANY EXCHANGES WILL COST ADDITIONAL RESTOCKING $50 PLUS $29.99 SHIPPING". So, after receiving a jacket that probably isn't any good, you're immediately out $119.99 on shipping (FKJDSKJFDSKJFSAe!!!!!), you'll be charged $50 restocking to send it back regardless of what you paid originally, be it $0.99 or $80, and they'll charge you $29.99 shipping to get a new jacket. Their profile is mostly barren, except for the fact that his only bit of feedback goes way back to Nov-07-05 12:20. They also have a claimed location of "United States". Yeah.
Up next is nadeem6451. First thing right off of the bat is a feedback score of 75%. That's not really good. Items for sale:
Compare those items to the former three. They're essentially the same with some minor differences. Either they're the same people, or they're ripping off people who are ripping off people. Item location for the listings is Columbia, Maryland, Pakistan. Hmmm. Shipping is still $119.99, but for whatever reason, in the last listing, they rip off a Wested picture instead.
Leather Attractions seems to be fairly well known here, but to recap, they have an older photoshopped Wested picture, and you're odds of receiving the item are very low. If, by some chance, you do receive it, you will most certainly not receive the pictured Wested. You'll get a poorly made product with probably the worst quilted lining ever put into a leather jacket. For that price, just by a Todd's.
The idea here is to create a thread here where we can keep a list of scam-ers here so people won't make bad choices ordering anything.
