Today, I went to see the new version of the Karate Kid, and it turned out to be a pretty good movie. On coming out of the theatre, I saw a BTTF poster and it took me a few seconds to realise that this year, there is going to be a re-release of this movie. I believe that the date will be 1st October 2010. For those of you who live in the UK, this was at a Showcase cinema, and I'm not sure if they are just showing it there, or whether it's just in the UK. I've had a look on the web, but can't seem to find any mention of this but I can't imagine them not showing it in the US. I originally saw the movie in it's original 1985 year of release. I was twelve years old at the time, and fell in love with the movie and had to wait forever to get it on VHS. ;D ;D

That's awesome. I saw it at a local theater last year. They were playing classic '80s movies over several weekends. It was just the DVD projected onto the screen, but it was GREAT! I can't wait for the Blu-Ray release on October 26. I can't imagine why they picked that date. ;D -Josh

Hey, there, Fusion! I just KNEW you'd make a post in this thread. I think all theaters should always have a screen that only shows the best 80's movies (or, more specifically, the Indiana Jones movies, the BTTF Movies, the 2nd-6th Star Trek movies, the Original Star Wars Movies, and quite possibly Scamper the Penguin). Okay, okay, the last one probably isn't that famous. ;D

Say... On my little sister's birthday in January next year, my family and I are going to Los Angeles. That was where a lot (if not all) of BTTF was filmed. We might even stop at the Puente Hills "Twin Pines/Lone Pine" Mall for lunch, if I can convince my parents. Perhaps Tim could even wear his Marty McFly costume. All the from-the-closet costume really needs is a "Life Preserver." Isn't that always the case? ;D
