I hear all the stories about incorrect orders (my authentic brown ROLA I'm selling was supposed to have nickel zipper) and have encountered Gemma's incorrect, misleading emails myself. However I would like to get the novapelle for a CS jacket, anyone have pics of that? But I'm scared of what might happen. I don't have a long laundry list.
Also being a size 42 chest and used to wear a 44 ROLA till it became too small due to working out, should I order a 46 next or a 48? I don't want to outgrow the 46 too soon. Thanks!

Everyone has different experiences. I have always found Wested to be very reliable.

I was just going through my old emails with Gemma and noticed they disregarded my shoulder measurements of 21" where the jacket I received is 20" across.

I've had bad customer service experiences with Wested myself, along with a few quality control issues. I've also read about many people that got what they ordered with no issues at all. It's certainly a mixed bag with Wested.

i can understand the issues with the off the rack product, but has there been any major issues with their custom made jackets?

I've never bought an off the rack jacket from Wested, so my experiences are based on custom made only. That's where most of the quality control/incorrect order issues come from anyway. Ken |

i got a denim raiders a few months ago, great jacket, my only issue with it is the liner. it has too much of it and it ripped a little after i washed it the first time, i plan on taking it to a tailor and having the liner replaced sooner or later. i would love to get a leather jacket from them someday.

This is certainly a factor in my own jacket search--as well as the lack of response to emails that I've experienced by first hand. However, they do provide a phone number. Is it possible to place an order over the phone, even if you happen to reside in the United States? Would it be possible that your order wouldn't get mangled up as easily if it was done this way? I'm thinking about just calling Wested when I get ready to make a decision, and I'm wondering if this would be a better way to go than emailing them.

They disregarded my specs that my shoulder width is 21" where the jacket I received is 20 and the zipper was the wrong color. They have major QC issues or just not responding to your email. Gemma contradicts herself and gives confusing and/or erroneous info. |
