I have been thinking about getting the denim version of the jacket from wested for some time. I have a us wings, but when i go camping during the summer i want something a little lighter. I have been looking at the abercrombie and fitch 'sawtooth' jacket, not indy looking at all but may be useful, but i am still drawn to the denim indy simply because it's an indy jacket. I was wanting to know opinions about the denim and how durable it is.

Seems ok to me. I tend to wear mine when I wouldn't wear a leather jacket: Gardening, DIY, working on the car, I've even re-felted a roof in it. The pockets come in useful in those situations.
Pretty much as sturdy and a jeans jacket.
It also has a nice SA narrow yoke that I really like when I catch a glimpse of it.

I just ordered a denim jacket, and I live in Idaho in the united states, so how long would the shipping take from England to the US?

I've heard it can take as little as 4 working days if they have it in stock. But start counting from monday, I doubt they have a Saturday collection.

Well, I got the jacket this morning and tried it on, PERFECT FIT! The sleeves are a tad long, but I'll live. I think this will be a great lighter jacket for camping this summer. I am very impressed with this Wested product, they shipped it monday so really it only took 2 or 3 days to get here, there's a new record for everybody in shipping time. This jacket has surprised me in a lot of ways, it's got rectagular sliders and it's dark brown, a perfect alternative to leather for the jacket nut in all of us.

I was waiting for one of the guys to e-mail me the pictures, but I'll post those later. But here you all go, enjoy! Attachments:

Wow, that is a great looking jacket. I have been thinking of getting one myself, these pictures are pushing me closer to pulling the trigger on one.
