I picked up an older (Black logo and Elbow stitch) US Wings Indy VIP a little while ago from eBay. Great quality jacket. It is sized at 3XL. However, it barely fits like a 2XL, let alone 3XL. It is comfortable in the sleeves and shoulder area, but seems to really tighten up at the waist. I kept it since I paid less than $170 for it..
Now I was wondering.. I know that USW has made a few changes in the past few years.. Is it possible that their newer jackets fit a little closer to their listed size? They are listed as 'normal fit', so there shouldn't be any 'bomber' or 'military' fit to them, am I correct?
Anyone have experience with both eras of USW?

I purchased a new US Wings VIP Indy-style Adventurers Jacket in December. I wear a size 40, and found their size M to fit as if it had been custom tailored for me. I've posted a review with photos a couple of months ago.
