Just picked one of these up, waiting for it. It's the older version with black label and elbow seam. What's everyone's opinion on these jackets?

I don't have that model, but have heard people comment favorably on its sturdy construction. It is a real jacket capable of use under tough conditions, not just an article of costume.

I was looking to US wings because of their selection of bigger sizes. However, I wasn't too happy with their price tags. I'm not too crazy when it comes to screen accuracy. As long as the jacket has the iconic Indy look to it, I'm happy. I got this for 180 bucks shipped. I'll def post pics when it arrives.

I just recently got one of these from Ebay. US Wings label with country of origin being China. So far it it looks really good, even with the elbow seam. I'm not so hardcore to disregard it because of that, so... It fits great (size Large) and seems pretty well made. Time will tell as to its durability. I do know that it is warm, especially in the winter temps. The leather is thicker than I expected and was reported to be goat. Nice weight to it. Little shiny, but that should dull down over time. All in all, a fine jacket. I got it for 139 plus shipping. This is my every day, go everywhere jacket now.
