Have I not been thorough in my search or has no one ever mentioned how Indy's gun in LC and KOTCS was actually a Webley Green? www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Indiana_Jones_and_the_Last_Crusade#Webley_GreenAll these years I thought it was a Mk VI. I just found this out a few months ago and never thought of mentioning it here until I saw Ken's Indiana Jones Guns page again. I have a Mk IV replica. I really wish there was a good replica of the Webley Green. -Josh

The bird's head style grip always gives these away. I think he used two different Webley's in LC. One was a Green and the other a standard military version.

Yeah, I've heard that Ford used a standard Mk VI in a few scenes. Ifmdb only mentions the Green, but that doesn't mean they are correct. -Josh

The WG has been confirmed since 2007. Several people have analyzed LC frame by frame to prove it. The Mark VI Webley has NEVER been used. Every time the gun is seen or fired it is a WG. The Prop Store of London has PICS of it on their site. WG actually stands for Webley Government. Club Obiwan member Rook does a metal replica and another member ,whose name escapes me, is doing a resin replica.

Hey All, I think the WG also had the "conventional" grips (i.e. not birds head). I had some pictures, but right now I'm having trouble finding them. I'll keep looking. I mention this because I think the WG is much bigger than the Mark VI. I'm not sure they would easily be filmed as a stand in for one another. Anyone know for sure? Ok, found this at at gun broker. It's their picture, not mine so I hope it lasts: Anyway, the point is, they might have used two WGs, not a WG and a Mark VI. Dan S
