I live in California and want a matte jacket (not shiny and new-looking) - Does this mean I'm looking at Washed Goat or Novapelle? Which is lighter for my climate? What's the difference in fit between the Raiders and Last Crusade jackets? Anyone know average delivery time from Wested to the US? Anyone have any experience/tips on finding an Indy jacket for a woman? Thanks for your help

I can kinda answer the Raiders and Last Crusade fit question. The Raiders jacket has a tighter fit and the LC is looser fitting than the Raiders jackets. The LC jacket I think is longer than Raiders jackets.

Thanks so much! I think I'll go with the Raiders jacket in that case.

Your welcome nessa and welcome to the Lounge! sorry i couldnt answer the other questions because i dont own an Indy jacket yet. But theres much more information here and others who have an Indy jacket can give you more information. Lambskin was used in Raiders, and for the LC some say it is cowhide and some say its lamb. CS is cowhide.

Hi there, welcome!
There are a couple of different questions in there!
For a matte jackets, the washed goat and the Novepelle would be the direction to go in. WG is as light as lamb but stronger, NP is a thinish cow. You'll find a NP feels like it's twice the weight of the WG. For where you are I guess a Lamb or the WG would suit better. Possibly.
As for a ladies jacket. Wested can actually make you one with a reversed stormflap I think Elodie has one, Canyon has a custom but I believe it is the male pattern.
If you get a off the peg jacket, they are quoting a couple of weeks. probably about 4 for a custom. This will get longer as people realise that halloween is right around the corner!

Jackets are additive, I'll warn you now!
When you get it it may appear very flat matt. It will pick up wear and scratches and slightly more shiny edges as you wear it. You can help it along with a gentle rub along raised areas with a scotchbrite pad.
Feel free to share any pics when you get it. We like pics!

I also see that some people put some pecards dressing on their jackets
