Hi Fellow Indy fan`s I'm going to be getting a K.O.T.C.S jacket in a week or so a Wested Cuz LOL I cant afford a Tony Novak`s but I don't know what skin would be better  I'm torn between the Novapelle Brown or the Dark brown lambskin?  I know we all have are likes and dislikes just look`n for a good all around look for K.O.T.C.S jacket .  Open for any ideas THX  |

NOVAPELLE, and get the lighter distressed, comes up nicely with leather treatment and darker

The novapelle is good for replicating the screen look. Here are the regular Novapelle and the Copper Novapelle side by side. I've found that the regular NP reacts well to a light coat of pecard, if not it tend to look a bit too dusty.  And here is my one after a bit of pecard:  |

That novepelle looks great after the pecards treatment. Did you use pecards lotion or the dressing? I used the dressing on my (non-novepelle) jacket and it worked wonders.

angrynj, I used the standard leather dressing, the thick gloopy stuff in the tub (looks like chilled vaselline) It's great, you end up putting it on everything that is leather! It looks really wet at first but soaks in after a few hours and then leaves it darker like that. |

Wow Kt. those jacket are awesome now I want both I just might have to skip the phone bill this month and get two! The Jacket in the bottem Pic is just what Im look`n for THX Kt.

CJ, you are welcome.
If it is as close to a CS as Wested can make there are a few tweaks that you have to make sure you ask for. If you want we can walk through them here.
