Visiting Gibson and Barnes in El Cajon

Hi everyone. I already own a Tony Nowak, but I have been thinking of getting a GB as well. Yes, I am a leather jacket addict. I have 2 Schott motorcycle jackets, my Tony Nowak indy 1, and some others....

I see that Gibson and Barnes showroom is in El Cajon in California. You can even tour the manufacturing facilities.

Has anyone gone? My mother and sister live in the town next to this. I will probably be out there at the end of the year for Christmas. I will DEFINITELY be visiting and trying on the Indy jackets.

I will take plenty of pics! Anyone ever been? If I can I will tour the facility and take some pics if anyone is interested. Let me know.

My first post on Indy Lounge! I've been a member of another popular Indy forum that goes by a bovine-like acronym... I was in SD for work and visited G&B last week. Great bunch of folks. I stated that I wasn't ready to buy yet. They were still ready & willing to spend as much time as I required to answer questions, try on Jackets, etc. Didn't matter that I arrived just as they were closing; they offered me a tour of their facility and weren't in a hurry to get me out the door. You won't regret the trip!

It's nice to hear you had a good visit to the G&B showroom. I've obviously never been there, as I live in Florida. I do think they make top quality products and offer great customer service on all their styles.
