I have no idea....I'm kinda happy with the way it looks right now, which is a change for me, as I lurvve to distress my other jackets.
But the question is, what treatment do I give it, or when it needs it. Surely normal Pecards would take the velvet touch out of it?
Have others here got any advice?
Cheers IC

Pecards does indeed remove a little from the velvet touch, but after a year or so, my jacket became so light in color, that I applied a thin coat of Pecard and it was the best I could have done. A few scratches showed up only a week later again and it's just MUCH better in color now, then ever before.
Couldn't be happier really.
Regards,
Marc

I forgot I asked this question.....but I took the plunge after looking at some pics of the CS jacket.....GULP.....you know what.....I love it. The light colour ended up very un SA...now 100%SA....so others can feel safe, and it is better for the leather.
Thanks for your response too Marc!

It will darken it temporarily (couple of months) and it will remove the soft nap finish. The surface may feel tacky for a day or 2 whilst it soaks in properly.

It's kinda funny. A lot of us go chasing the next one, then the next one and kinda forget how amazing the novapelle CS looks.
Great jacket you have there!
