My favorite all time Science Fiction show. Stories, Character design, Sets, Make Up. This show had it all. Not to mention that it was probably the sexiest Sci-Fi show ever made. One word. "CHIANA" Is anyone else a fan of this Series? I sure hope so. ;D Cheers, John Crichton

I would hope so too, given the whole board has turned into a Farscape forum now. Otherwise, it's going to be a lonely place here before long...

Like a frelling Tarkan out of Hezmana... it's the all new Farscape Lounge!!
I look forward to many threads discussing the recreation of a prop Wynona pistol, a screen accurate Qualta blade, and even scale replicas of Moya and Talon!
Before I get sidetracked with all that, we need to find a way to use wormholes as a weapon. The Skarrans will completely wipe us out of we don't.
Love,
Scorpy / Grasshopper

I knew nothing about Farscape until G-Mann sent me his copies of the entire series and the movie finale on DVD to watch. Being able to experience a series with no commercials or waiting for the next episode or season to get here is a really nice way to watch a series like this.
Count me among the people who think Farscape was a great show filled with drama and exotic lifeforms. To watch the characters and their relationships evolve over the 4 seasons, and finish things off nicely with the movie finale was a treat. Most shows don't allow the characters to grow and change the way they did.
They also really blended humor into each show nicely, which added more uniqueness to a very different world. It's no wonder the show has such a strong fan base and why the new series of comics literally blew off the shelves.

I've only ever watched the Peacekeeper wars of Farscape and dont know to much about the rest of the series...well, except that they had some really hot looking alien women on it.

I haven't seen either of those series, so I can't compare. I did very much enjoy the Farscape series though, and would love to see another movie that brings us up to speed with what's happened since the Peacekeeper Wars. I'll check out the two series you mentioned when I see them listed, or even on Netflix. I'm always up for some new entertainment. Ken

Hey Desert Dweller, I have not seen Babylon 5 but I have seen all of Serenity. Although I did enjoy Serenity and the Firefly movie I think Farscape was a Much Better series in just about every way possible. Cheers, John

they're both out on Netflix. I watched Babylon 5 sporadically and thought it was ok. I loved Firefly, though it only lasted for 11 episodes or so. The follow up movie Serenity was pretty good though. It was a sort of "space western" done by Joss Whedon (of Buffy and Angel fame)

I used to love that show when it first came out. For reasons I can't recall I stopped watching it. It was really cool, though. I have to admit. -Josh

I am currently watching through farscape but haven't gotten to season 2 yet, it's sporadic because I have to watch them at someone elses house. However what I have seen so far, doesn't show as much potential to me as Babylon 5 did. The farscape galaxy is an interesting place though and the characters, well, interesting but honestly nothing special yet.
