Exactly. As far as I know Mr. Novak is going around telling people what to do so why is there any issue at all? Nobody on this forum, as far as I know, is blinded by any hype because I just don't see any hype.
Fine to associate with whoever you want but it's not right to slam someone to build another person up.
I also found out only one kind of leather costs just under $1,000. His Raiders are under $800 and CS is under $700.

That is 100% Correct. No Hype here and that's just how we like it.
Why should there be. Ken and I don't make a cent from this place. Quite the opposite actually. We have no stake in any of the vendors either.
The closest thing you will find to hype here is for the Adventurebilt Deluxe. Why? Because Marc and I are VERY good friends and he makes a Damn Fine Hat. Probably the best money can buy.
Ken and I started this place to have fun and talk about other stuff besides Indiana Jones. Yes it is an Indiana Jones site and that is the basic glue that holds the place together.
But there are a lot of talented members that share thier creativity and talents and other hobbies that extend way past the IJ thing.

I don't care where a product is made, as long as it's well made for the price point I'm willing to pay. I would never pay $1,000 for a leather jacket, no matter who made it. However, I also wouldn't expect other people to share my opinion on that. Unless someone is willing to give you money with the condition that they tell you how to spend it, they should stop slamming others for not buying what they did. Yep, the purpose of this place is simply to provide information about Indiana Jones stuff, and have fun by also talking about whatever else interests us. I see no point in hyping something unless I made it or am making money from it. We just don't have the time, interest, or energy in trying to be something we're not around here. No hype or drama needed to just have fun.  Ken |

I love my G&B Goat best of all! (but I do not wear my WOLFE"S HATTERY Raiders Fedora anymore.......I like my cowboy hats better than the short brim  ) While my Wested looks nice and the napa hide awesome, the jacket is just not put together to be worn by a rough neck like me. GO G&B!!! I will ride back into the sunset now  |
