I added a few buttons to my debenham chinos, I think it looks better. Although the buttons I bought weren't exactly like indys colour wise and size wise as well. That's more like it. Not bad... not bad at all. That's nice to hear. Now I have to actually get the chinos down to the dry cleaners to get a taylor to sew the buttons on, in the pic they are just held there by some sellotape.

And I banned one more this morning as well as deleting their posts.
I'll try to keep a better watch for these spammers this week.
Cheers, John

Definitely. There are a couple of them. I'm getting very annoyed by them. -Josh Deleted a bunch of spam posts, disabled the offending accounts, and banned them as well. Sorry for the delay..... not much free time these days. Ken Thank you, Ken & John... you are Princes among men for doing that. Understand about the 'time-shortage'... happens to us all.

Oh dear just bought another pair of chinos and they haven't even got flap back pockets. I just liked the khaki colour. I will try upload a pic sometime maybe again.
My chest of draws is bursting with too many indy like chinos now, I don't know if I have much room. Ive got Tobacco colour chinos, light brown ones. None have got pleats though or even the iron crease down the front and back leg of the chino. I may one day buy a wested pant, but im holding myself back for now.

If you're buying all these Chinos, you might as well buy the Wested pants too? They're at least the right material....Closer to the real thing than (I'll bet) most of the other Chinos you can find?
Entirely your choice, but the Wested pants would be far closer to Indiana Jones than anything else you can find in chino shops...

Yes i went there 2 days ago, but I got there at 4.50 and they close at 5. I didn't realize it would take so long to get there about 1.45min by bus and then a short 15 minute walk as well. So I quickly tried on a 32 inch waist which seemed a little big, but then it was 5pm and I said id come back another day. Didn't get the chance to try a shirt on. If you had to choose would a Indy pant or Shirt be on your list if you could only choose one.? But here are my jasper conran from Debenhams again chinos, what do you think of the colour? I personally prefer this khaki colour to the flap back pocket ones I added buttons to. SHame no flap backs on these pair.

Cant believe I finally bought a wested indy pant. I just need to take them up now. Do people know what I need to ask the tailor? Do I ask for a military hem? If I do, I hope the tailor knows what that is. The colours not too far off from my Debenhams jasper conran ones above in fact. Nice pants though, I wont have such urgency to buy chinos now. But I cant promise that if I see Indy like chinos I will be able to resist buying more though.
Spoke too soon, just saw some nice chinos online and bought again. They have pleats and flap back pockets and khaki taupe colour and look good, a lucky find.

Any one know when Todd's Costumes may have some of his waist size 38-40's back in stock?

Sadly Todd posted at COW awhile back that it was very unlikely they be getting any back in stock. Wish I bought 3 or 4 pair had I known.

So is Todd's Costumes not going to be making the pants at all anymore?
