I decided to start a thread articling the progression of customization on my Sideshow Indiana Jones. So far I've resculpted the hat and painted it. Switched the shirt with the Relic Hunter figure painted the buttons on that shirt. Painted the jacket. Switched the web belt out. Now I'm using a holster my brother made to go along with a Webley (that actually opens!). I still need to repaint the hat and hair a little more, but I took some pictures. So, for your consideration: -Josh

I've made a few more adjustments to my Sideshow Indy. I repainted the hat and used a little fuller's earth on it. In fact, that was essentially the only thing I have worked on since the last pictures I took. Here they are (mostly the same poses): "Because it's wired." "What book?" "But she's one of them." "No! Don't shoot!" Empty... Shooting at Vogel: And finally, detail on the hat: Sorry if I slowed your computer down with these over sized images. I also hope to get some positive feedback like that from jc1972. Thank you again, BTW. -Josh

This is actually the first time I've seen this thread. I love the detail on your figures! The distressing looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of your future projects (at least those that are BTTF- or Indy-related). Steven

Thanks guys! I especially appreciate your compliments CJ. Here's a little more of Ben's handy work (my Last Crusade Indy): The head is from the Sideshow German Disguise Indiana Jones. The hat from the Adventure Gear Raiders Indy, re-sculpted by me. I painted the hat, Ben painted the head and neck. The Webley is from the KOTCS Indiana Jones figure, and I repainted it. Ben made the shirt (which is only temporary) as well as the holster. The jacket is from the Relic Hunter figure (with the lining and zipper removed), but I'm not 100% set on it. In the first picture the jacket is a modified Sideshow jacket. -Josh

great photos, and Luke looks kinda confused in that hat progress shot...
when the Marion is finished they will all look great, you should build some kind of diarama on a tabletop for a display.
how about a Belloq and Sapito?
