I have the USW Blue Label and would like to replace the flimsy D-rings with something sturdy; where can I get rectangular sliders like G&B has to replace? Will G&B send me some sliders if requested? Thanks for your input.

Ken actually has the link for where to get the rectangular sliders posted in the "Where to Buy" Section.......but here is a direct link. www.strapworks.com/Metal_Loops_p/ml.htmI have tried getting sliders from G&B in the past with no luck. Cheers, John

That's where I got mine. Go for the 1" variety in flat black. That's probably the closest match to the hardware that comes on the G&B. Here's a pic of what mine look like after I swapped them for the D-rings on my Wested. The Wested with the strapworks loops is on the left, while my G&B (with the stock hardware) is on the right. I have to say that I do prefer the finish on the G&B, and I'm not sure if strapworks sells anything exactly like that (hence why most folks go for the "flat black") Good luck!

Thanks John! I didn't see that. Thanks Griff, I was wondering on the color.

You are Welcome.
Griff is correct the G&B Sliders are preferable. They are Blued like gunmetal and the others are painted.
Cheers, John

I was wondering if the flat black will be too dark for the USW Blue Label, which I'm putting Pecard's on to make darker. However it still won't be anywhere near as dark as my G&B.

How light is your USW-BL? The flat black loops are dark, and I must admit they seemed a bit darker than I would have liked when I first put them on my Wested. The "gloss black" or "charcoal" colors might look better, or even the "brass translucent" if the zipper on your jacket is brass. Or you could buy the "uncolored" variety and try your hand at blueing them yourself. Most decent gunshops or sporting good stores that sell guns should carry gun blueing solution. It might end up giving you the same sort of look as the G&B hardware.
