I'm getting a Bell Metal Semi Automatic MAGNUM Revolver Gas Pistol V2 WITH PADDED CARRYING CASE similar to the TSD or UHC gas guns...
Does anyone know what the comparable frame size to a real S&W revolver would be..? I have found some nice wooden grips, one fora K frame, one for a N frame. Would any of them fit with out a real hassle???

I believe you'd want to look for grips to fit a K-frame, round butt, if your airsoft is anything like mine.

Thanks...
You said "round" butt, however the bottom of your gun looks "straight" to me.. Could you explain what you mean?
There are a bunch of S&W K frame wooden grips on eBay now...If you take a look, tell me if you think any would fit. BTW looking at the airsoft, it seems that the plastic grips "meet" at the back, as opposed to having the metal frame extend the length of the butt...also the only part of the butt end that shows the frame is the fill nozzle.
Would I have to to a lot of woodwork if I got standard wooden S&W frames, or would they more or less just get screwed on?
Sorry for being so dumb...

The pictures at the top of this page explain the round butt / square butt difference pretty well. www.grips4guns.com/revolver/smithwesson/smithwesson.htmlThe Bell airsoft I have has butt that more closely resembles the S&W "round butt" if you look at it without the grips attached. However, the grips extend beyond the frame of the butt, making it resemble the "square butt" in profile when the grips are on. (As you pointed out, the grips "meet" in the rear, and only the very base of the frame is visible at the bottom of the grips.) The trick is going to be finding wooden grips that will fit the same way the plastic stock grips do. I'm not sure if there are any grips out there like that (I never found any when I began looking for wooden grips for my airsoft, but I didn't look all that hard). Standard "round butt" grips would probably fit the frame of the airsoft better, but I'm still not even sure if it would be an exact fit. "Square butt" grips would definitely not fit at all, since the frame isn't big enough (there would be a big gap in the back). Other things to keep in mind: If you do find grips that will fit the frame of your airsoft, you'll still probably have to remove the gas tank in order to get them to fit correctly. You'll also probably have to get rid of the two metal weights that go under the grips to give the gun more "heft" (although if your airsoft does have a real metal frame, it moght not have these extra weights). Hope this helps.

Thanks..I guess I will just have to wait for the gun before I make any decision.
BTW, I talked to ANOTHER guy at the online mega store, a kid who seems to know more about the guns..
He told me that the gun is NOT all metal (metal frame) but has metal filings in the ABS parts to give it a more metallic look and feel.
I don't know if the other BELL or similar guns like your FBI model has the same or not....
I won't get the gun until Fri. or Mon (UPS) because the kid said that though the gun was in stock, the padded cases weren't.
That's weird because you think the guns are shipped factory sealed with what ever it is supposed to come with..
Also, they have the guns on eBay for a similar price and claim that they have 7 "in stock"
I am not too paranoid as I can always return it. I could claim "false advertising" and not have to pay return post, as the site (as above) clearly stated" METAL FRAME".
