I'm curious about the measurements for a Todd's OTR jacket. I've heard several people state that they run small. Does anyone know if the gussets are a part of that chest measurement? If that is the case, that might explain why the jackets feel snug or maybe it's just that most members aren't accustomed to fitted clothing.

Mine fits fine in chest and shoulders. The belly is just a bit tight. My fault, not the jackets.

I have to agree with Bakersfield. Mine fits great, with very little tightness due to a bit of a belly. I highly recommend it in terms of quality and price. It is a great spring and fall jacket, and if you live in an area with mild winters great throughout the year.

Mine is a large, and i wear a 40 regular. Actually I've lost about 15 pounds since i bought it, so it's fitting better. Just loosen the side straps a touch, and you should be fine.

I just bought a jacket from a member of another forum and it's a large. I normally wear a 40R as well, but I'm worried about it being too big. I don't like loose clothing. I would prefer a fitted look, but I heard these jackets run small, so I bought a large. Bakersfield, what does your jacket measure armpit to armpit fully zipped? This is how I usually can tell if a jacket is going to fit right.

I usually wear a large in most jackets, and I had to go with an xxl because it was too tight in the shoulders and chest...belly was fine. 'Course, I lift a lot of weights and am built pretty broad across the shoulders.

I'm 5'9" 155lbs. I've always been told I have a broad back, but I still wear a 40 jacket and medium shirt. I just hope this thing fits when I get it. If it's too loose, it's gotta go!
