Well I hope Tony gets the jacket 100% PERFECT.
That way we can all quit spending our hard earned money on jackets and use it towards Green Contact Lenses, Plastic Surgery to have our noses bent to the left, Decorative scars put on our chins and Lipposuction to make our Screen Accurate jackets fit. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers, John

IF Tony has a jacket in his posession with a torn outside pocket seam opposite the storm flap side - that's the one I hope he uses!! of course done without the ripped seam...Because that's a SA detail that I'm sure wouldn't have been done to the other 14 to match, and it's on screen quite a bit.

I would like to propose a Mr. Potato Head approach to the Indy jacket. It comes in kit form in a box. You get a leather vest covered with velcro patches in the key spots and zips at the sleeve. In the kit, you get pockets and flaps of various sizes and shapes backed with velcro, different collars, zip in linings, back straps, and sleeves with and without bullet holes. Then, you can attach the various items to the vest to craft a perfect Raiders jacket to match whatever screen shot you're currently looking at. It's the perfect everything to everybody Indy jacket. (Sorry it's only available in one shade of brown.) I like this idea as well! ;D ;D ;D I can see Mr Potato Head wearing a brown leather vest, holding up different sleeves, patch pockets, collars, and strap attachments in front of the mirror, trying to decide which specific jacket he wants to wear tonight! ;D ;D Funny stuff, Ken

Hey DougC,
First off, what Indy Jackets do you own to base your personal opinions on. Other than screen caps.
I would enjoy seeing a pic of you wearing your gear.
I have yet to see you post a pic of yourself. I would like to see why the details of the jacket are so important that you feel the need for the vendors to improve upon themselves.
You seem to thrive on the efforts of others.

G-mann :
I don't know what you mean by this... but apparently I've ticked you off some how. To answer your questons I've owned probably atleast 8 Westeds, 3 US Wings, 2 Todd's jackets. That's no where as much as some folks but it's enough to give an informed oppinion. I will post pics of some of my jackets in another thread since it would detract from the subject of this thread. I also have a couple of Indy shirts, Wested pants and a pair of Aldens, web belts, Magnoli bag, I've owned a Herbert Johnson, etc..I'll try to get everything in a shot but I never put on the complete outfit at once not even for halloween or just a picture.
BTW, what does this have to do with Tony's jacket? Opinions could be formed just from all the individual's pictures that are posted on the forums when people get new jackets, people do it all the time when they invest in their first jackets - right?
Have I been out of line in anything I've posted? Please let me know and I will scale back my input.

You should consider a G&B, seemingly the best one available.
