No, it's not dropped. We have the spec sheet ready and are just waiting for buckles. Then everything's off to Wings. Sorry, cannot find the dang post on COW where the poster said something along the lines of: "since Peter has gotten the Noel Howard, US Wings is no longer interested" that I remembered. Maybe read it wrong, esp. since crismans clarified that the project is still ongoing. As for my other comment, here is the post: www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?p=469722&highlight=#469722The post he said about working on the jackets for 20 years IIRC was in the thread that got deleted, where he and DougC got into a bit of a "disagreement"...

whoa so the USW TOD jacket project has been dropped ?? I did not read that yet ! Cool, found the post, it shows I am not losing my mind. You did post on COW that you thought the project might have been a waste of time (assuming you are dutch_jones there as well): www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?p=473822#473822But I get ya, crismans, the US Wings project is still in process...

Doc, I know you probably just remember it this way... but I feel compelled to point out that DougC (myself) was not involved in any disagreement, I only asked pat to be have. I say this because this is part of the problem as I see it, he's able to go into a perfectly civil thread, throw around a bunch of insults and it comes off like - "Doug's pickin' on pat again.." I mean that's the general feeling that alot of folks have about it, admins for sure... it's frustrating so that's why I mention it.

I habit many forums on the web, and it seem that no matter what the primary forum topic, i.e., politics, cars, indy jackets, etc., there always seems to be one poster who has carte blanche to break the rules, while everyone else must walk on eggshells. Said poster can insult at will, derail threads, etc., with no consequences, as they are the "pet poodle" of the admins. I have quit many boards over the past few years over this, and have considered many times setting up my own. This is one of the unfortunate things of the web, people behave and say things they would not do in real life...;(
