Hi guys, I've got a question for all of knowledgeable folks: Which material is more durable for actual use, lambskin or goatskin? And which company out there offers the best quality jacket? Particulars aren't really important to me, as long as it has the original design and the general color of the Raiders jacket.
Thanks in advance!

Better hide for durability between Lamb and Goat? - GOAT Best Quality Jacket? - Gibson and Barnes (and yes, they offer Goatskin )

Thank you all for your advice. I see a Gibson and Barnes goatskin Expedition Jacket in my future.

Thank you all for your advice. I see a Gibson and Barnes goatskin Expedition Jacket in my future. Make sure you post pics when you get it; I have a G&B lamb and now living in FL I'm glad I have it rather than the goat.

Make sure you post pics when you get it; I have a G&B lamb and now living in FL I'm glad I have it rather than the goat. Why is that? Because of the heat? Yes, lamb is much better to have for warm-hot weather than goat. Goat is way too heavy.
