My Seal Brown G&B goat Expo

As requested from a fellow member, here are a few pics of my Gibson & Barnes Seal Brown Expedition in goatskin. You won't see many Expos with a liner like this one, either.

I love the color and fit of this jacket, but as you can see from the pics, it's very shiny. I think it needs a visit to the washing machine, lol.

Now that there is a mighty purdy jacket!

I've always liked the darker shades of brown offered by Wested and G&B, but that seal brown color looks great! I like the red liner as well...very classy.

Thanks Griff! I really like this jacket alot, and so far, I consider it my "Raiders" jacket. I recently purchased a Tony Nowak Indy jacket, and while I really love that one, it's NOT a "Raiders of the Lost Ark" jacket in the slightest. The Raiders jacket is the best Indy jacket of the series, IMHO. If I ever find one closer to the real deal than a G&B, maybe I'll let this one go, and upgrade to one of those,....can't see it happening, though.

G&B certainly makes a gorgeous jacket, and the seal brown is very nice...to my eye, in direct sunlight, there doesnt seem to be a significant difference in color between the dark and regular seal shades - maybe its me?

Hey doc, I've got a dark brown lambskin G&B, and I can tell you just by looking at these pics that there is definitely a significant difference in the color. The darkbrown is VERY dark, and even after nearly a year of wearing it, I'd have to give mine a long rubdown with some acetone to get it looking like the seal brown in IB's pics.

Hi GCR. The dark seal is seemingly of 2 minds, some of the pics I have seen it appears as almost black, in others it seems a mid-range brown.

Damn USPS, if they would stop spending so much time creating new stamps I might actually get the seal brown swatch from G&B and make a decision. From my eye, though, it would appear that the dark seal is more SA to all of the films, IMO.

Sweet jacket indyblues, I love and prefer that color in a G&B. Those sleeves look really short in that first picture and seems shorter in the sleeves than in the body, in other shots - was this a special order?
