Hey all, I treated myself to a Tony Nowk LE KOTCS jacket for my 40th B-day, and wanted to share a few pics. Sorry for the pic quality. My camera sucks. Need to upgrade. Anyway, here goes: FRONT BACK COLLAR POCKET SIDE STRAP BACK SHOT (WORN) I would have included the front shot, but UGH!. I just got home from work that day, and looked like hell. So, I'll get a (hopefully) better shot up later. Thanks for looking, 'Blues

Awesome jacket Mike! I emailed Tony Nowak last week about building a Raiders style jacket instead of CS and he never got back to me... I may just have to buy one of these though. They are awfully purdy. Congrats man, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Thanks guys! kaplan, I don't think Tony will entertain making any other versions of the jacket, I'm afraid. He told me about a few changes he made to the design to make it more functional. Case in point, the collar lays nice and flat, and doesn't have that "fly-away' look to it. No idea what he did, but on all my other Indy jackets, I had to "train" the collar to stay down.
GCR, the distressing is all Tony Nowaks work. I plan to add some myself, because there are a few areas that could use it. Thanks for the compliments. Mike

Very cool looking jacket ! I also like the hide...reminds me a lot of my pre-distressed A2 flight jacket. Even before seeing your jacket I had the same impression when looking at some pictures from KOTCS.

Gracias, Stefana and Gmann! I really like this jacket, and wish it were autumn already. It's going to be a long hot summer, waiting to get the chance to enjoy this jacket.
The distressing is really nice, and not too "over-the-top". I may add a bit here and there, just need to find out how Tony did it. I don't want to try anything that might ruin the jacket. 'Blues

Beautiful jacket! I love the distressing of these jackets, and I too would like to know what he does to get this look. Happy 40th as well....I'm only a few, short years from that too.

Thanks guys! kaplan, I don't think Tony will entertain making any other versions of the jacket, I'm afraid. That's a shame. I keep looking at that "custom order" tab on his site and I see a raiders jacket in my mind. He must be unwilling to mass produce any other styles, but I wonder if he would make just one order? Really wish he would get back to me.

It's possible he'll do a one off, I just wonder if he'll have a hard time not incorporating the newer features into the jacket. 'Blues

I love the way the sleeves are not much longer than the body, that's the way they should be IMO. I think it's a major thing that Wested often gets wrong. Anyway, it's a great lookin' jacket - congrats!

Man, that really is a beauty. I just love that distressed look! Just when I thought my next jacket would be a new Wested... How much do these Nowak jackets go for again?
