my mu finally gave me her computer at easter and it has photoshop, flash animation, fireworks and loads of other cool stuff these here are my own experiments, without any instructions from anybody, just messing around to see what my abilities are my first lightsaber blade I managed to create rain that actually looks rather good. i made a square of "Water Drops" filter, then added motion blur at an angle and moved it over the original photo, then added more water drops on Indy's face, arm and chest I also made glowing eyes using the same method as lightsaber but added light glare as a small focal point on the eye I discovered that light glare on it's own looks like a "cyborg eye" and then fork lightning, also can be used as Force Lightning

One of the main "tricks" to do a lightsaber effect in PS is to set the layer to "Screen" I usually use a small round stroke, then I choose pure white for the color of the "core" of the blade, and on a new level I click once at the base of the blade (on the lightsaber hilt) and holding "Shift" I click on the top of the blade, or where it should be (this way you create a straight line in 2 clicks), then I double click on the level (or I right-click on it and I choose "Blending options") and I play a little with the "outer glow" option set to get the color of the blade...

I was making it up as I went, i don't know about the layers function yet or any of the technical stuff I used the Corona effect on eye candy 3000 to get the blade colour and added a lense flare at the base of the blade I messed around and came up with lots of interesting stuff over the past three weeks or so I found it's also useful to use the same lightsaber effects for things like force lightning and maybe even the Ghostbusters Proton guns did this one to show Pitfall, plus I added the blood stains on his shirt by doing deep red water drops and giving them a tiny amount of motion blur to make it look like it's stained and soaked in experimenting with the Liquify and warping methods created my own 007 logo I am contemplating doing my own James Bond poster finally did a sci fi equivalent of my own Titleblock

I'm taking classes for designing stuff like this and designing websites at school and I must say some of this stuff looks pretty good. I really like the rain effect in the "Bridge Scene" the best.
