Lookin' good so far, Tron! This is something I've been wanting to see for quite some time now, a Magnoli HJ with some "Cairo" character to it! The Fullers Earth really brings out some of that "SOC" quality, but I'm curious if you have any plans to go full-bore Cairo? A rabbit felt hat, blocked on a great block like Steve's, can really yield some excellent Cairo results! A few little tweaks to your HJ and you could have yourself a dead-ringer. I don't blame you if you don't have the desire to squash and rumple a $300 hat, though. ;D Anyways, great work so far! That is one beautiful HJ, man! -GCR

Great lookin hat tron I have one on order and can't wait to get it. You did a nice job workin the hat . Try this if you don't mind pour the fuller earth on(I mean pour it on)be very lebral about the stuff. You will be amazed how SA it will look just shake a little off walaa! like you came right off the cairo streets.and it looks better a few days later too. It all brushes out. the ribbon will take a little longer to clean but in time I will look good to.Everybody that sees mine love the look clean or dirty thats the great thing about wearing a fedora specialy when it looks as good as it does on you.

He used Fullers Earth. Finely grained dirt could work too though
