Definitely another vote for Steele and Jones. Great hats for the money and great guys to deal with.
I've also been very impressed by Garrison Hatters offerings.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I think all of Garrison's Indy hats are top notch looking and I've heard nothing but good reviews of them. Once I finally put myself in the position to be able to afford a good hat (I'm sporting the ol' Dorfman pacific presently) I most certainly will have Garrison make it for me. The wait is longer than what I'd prefer but I think part of the joy in buying one of these awesome hats is in the waiting and anticipation of the holy grail of hats to arrive. Also, I emailed David to ask his advice on ribbon cinching/scrolling and he was, "more than happy" to offer his advice. A real class act of a fellow imo

Just been browsing through the updated AdVintage Fedoras website. They have a great selection, from factory made rabbit felt to hand made beaver felt. Well worth a visit if you're thinking of getting a new lid www.advintagefedora.de/shop/index.php?language=en&

I'm giving serious thought to getting a Christy's Adventurer. If anyone who has one would care to share their thoughts or opinions on this particular lid I'd be most grateful
