Well, I can't watch the video linked to the story. For some reason it won't load right. I saw the still shot though and I love how the skeptic described it as a "contrail". He must think people in general are idiots. I'm pretty sure the general public knows what the Hell a contrail looks like. Contrail's don't usually move all around and change direction either.
I'm not sure what these people saw but I doubt it was that!
Hopefully I can get the video to work.

"The U.S. military conducted a missile defense test off of Kauai Friday evening but the test didn't begin until 7:20 p.m." Sounds like the official missile test was at 7:20 p.m. publicly, and the "unofficial" submarine tests were done at 6:20 p.m. privately. "What submarine tests?" Sir, come with us.....

FINALLY....got that video to work. As usual the video of this stuff is so far out you can't make out what it is or isn't. I'd say it's possible they tested the missiles earlier but why not just come out and say it? I mean it's no secret that they tested the missiles to begin with in the first place. Seems rather silly to lie and say "Ah, we tested those at 7:20pm and not 6:20pm" That makes no sense. Everyone knew that they were doing to begin with. Unless this is some sort of new aircraft they were testing as well. I don't see a missile making to many moves unless it's locked onto something. Who knows......There's always going to be someone who witnesses something like this and there's always going to be someone waiting in the wings to debunk it. The majority of the people on this planet turn a blind eye toward this stuff anyway. So IF there is something out there it'll "bite us in the a$$" before we can do anything about it anyway.......Well, at least some of us.

They don't like saying much about submarine capabilities or locations to the public. Especially when they're nearby and testing missiles; even if it's a simple test. Or They had a mishap and two launched early without their wanting them to. Can't quite admit that really. "Oops. We, uh...." Sounds like they move like missiles and this conveniently occurred within an hour of an actual missile test. That's really all I'm basing this on. Who knows? Could have been a UFO!

Well, from the way they make it sound testing missiles in this area seems to be pretty common and people are used to it. The report right before the UFO report didn't try to hide the fact that they were testing a new defense system. Yeah, it's disturbing that something might have gone wrong but if people know they're doing this to begin with they're not going to be as shocked to hear there was a malfunction of a missile.
Yeah, I agree that these "sightings" and the missile test were awfully close together.
I'm tired of the term UFO being synonymous with "little green men". Just because there's something unidentified up in the sky doesn't mean it's an alien lifeform.
I'm not totally convinced this is a missile and I'd have to get a better look myself. To me it doesn't look like what I'd describe as an "Alien Ship" though.
I guess I don't understand how the weather radar didn't pick anything up at all. Well, maybe it's one of those new stealth missiles...
