Looking at the great displays on here of all of the stuff makes me think how cool it would be to have a "Club House" of sorts where everyone here could visit that was decorated like this and we could hang out.....play pool....watch movies.
It's to bad we all don't live in the same town.

Stefana
That basement is truly amazing. I especially love the Sefana in carbonite, it's very, very cool that you did it from your own lifemask, from a distance it looks like the real one, and up close it's you. Brilliant.
Also what make are the masks/helmets on the top?

Stefana,
I forgot to ask you earlier something about your Carbonite Han Solo display. I know you said you made the hands and face yourself but how did you do the rest of the body? Was that a mold you bought separate from somewhere else?

About the video. Sorry, it was riddled with copyright infringement and, although posted for our amusement, it happened to be up at the time of the witch hunt and I figured with everyone looking for all kinds of reasons to hate Indylounge, it wasn't a good idea to have it up. It was just a quick excerpt from Blade Runner, that's all. "Gosh, you certainly have a lot of nice toys here." - Roy Batty.

No biggie at all... I just wanted you to know that even though things were busy at the time, I did try to go back and watch your video. I always do...though sometimes I'm at work when I first see them posted, so I have to watch them at home.

Correct exept for the MOC Vintage...(wish I had some though) What you see are "Original trilogy collection" figures on repro vintage cards.
The body was just pieces of fabric pasted over body parts I made of "papier-maché"...the hair (and chest hair) are made with steel wool ;D The feet are just tips of old shoes (of course)
It's all in the lighting...and facial expression.
The Vader and trooper are Don Post's classic molds (but 90's re-issues not vintage) The Clonetrooper is a (cheeper) two piece mask the was part of a promotional AOTC campaign for Kellog's SW cereal. The package included two boxes of cereal and the mask for $20 or so dollars. (exclusively in Canada...I think) The mask is weird to wear, as it is too big on the sides and too small for the front and rear of the head ( it squishes your nose ) But looks nice on a shelf.

I don't know how all that nudity and violence from these videos would be received at work. Seriously, it's nice to know that someone watches them, RB. Thanks. And now, back to Stefana's BIG OL' collection o' cool stuff.

Wow, I wanted to let you know that you did a fantastic job on that. Between the basement, the great collection , the Han Solo carbonite display and your dad looking like Henry Jones Sr. I can safely say I'm rather jealous......How would you feel about adopting a 34yr old Indy fan? ;D ;D ;D

AH, I wondered if one might be a SDS, I got to inspect one of those at London Film and Comic Con and was amazed at how light the original helmets were. If I ever win the lottery I'm going to get me one of those sets of Stormtrooper armour to display.

I'm thinking of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry was dating the gal with the really cool toy collection. The problem now is, if we all come over to try and get Stefana sleepy so we can play with his toys, we are going to need to bring more turkey and boxes of wine than it took for that gal on Seinfeld! Plus, if it doesn't work well enough and he wakes up... Ken
