You may have seen th e problems some of us smaller guys have had with the sizing of the US Wings jackets. I wrote to them... 40 inch chest 1XXlb etc etc. They came back and said we have a medium that should suit you fine! I played it safe i thought and with the kind help of G-Mann a Small Goatskin A2 arrived. It swamped me! Ok, round 2, let's try a XS! After a lot of tooing and frowing with USW who are crazily suspicious of international buyers BTW (They wont even take AMERICAN Express) and thanks to the saintlike patience of AC I finally got one that fits. Sleeves are good, it's fine in the shoulders and the leather is nice, would have preferred goat but this will do nicely. Most jackets are a bit long on me but this ok. At $79.99 a bargain. Looks like they use exactly the same pockets on their Indy jackets.

Wow, KT! That looks to fit extremely well. Looks great! It is too bad that wasn't a goat with the darker color and smoother finish but I have to say that seeing so many A2s fit people just enough to be "off" in areas, this jacket looks really great!
Safe to say that US Wings sizing does seem to run on the large side.
You really pull off an A2 well, KT!

binkmeisterRick over at cow had the exact same experience, except that he started out with their medium. He also wears a size 40 and ended up having to exchange it twice until he ended up with an XS.
That looks great!

Thanks guys, I think it looks pretty good, sleeves are trim and the the fit is good. The difference between this and the small are a couple of sizes.
This leather is pretty similar to Wested distressed cow in appearance. It's slightly quilted so I'll be able to wear it when it gets a bit chilly for my Wested.
Now I finally know the difference between their Antique and their Vintage. Antique is a grainy and jerky type leather and the vintage is a smooth but almost sanded surface, it seems to have had the smooth layer on top of the leather completely sanded off.
Now if Wested could source an "Antique" style leather that would be something!

KT, That's a sharp looking jacket you have there. Seems like your jacket collection is growing week by week. Cheers, G-MANN

KT, I was never a huge A-2 fan myself, but that one there is looking very slick! I really like the worn / vintage look of the leather, while not the type of distressing I would want on an Indy jacket, I have always liked this look on other types of brown leather jackets, and yours is a perfect example! Lookin' good! -GCR

They wont even take AMERICAN Express A lot of places here in the States refuse to take American Express. Irony yes, but like the commercials say, Visa is accepted almost everywhere. Looks like they use exactly the same pockets on their Indy jackets. It used to say under their Kangaroo Leather jacket that the pockets were from there A-2's. It keeps a standard pattern and saves them money. The jacket looks nice though! Tycoonman

They wont even take AMERICAN Express A lot of places here in the States refuse to take American Express. Irony yes, but like the commercials say, Visa is accepted almost everywhere. The crazy thing is, from International customers they wont take ANY credit cards. (I had to transfer them money via Western Union AND they wanted 8 x shipping. It was far cheaper for me to send it to someone in the States and then have them send on to me. Of course I owe 2 people for their time now!
