Here's the measurements of my latest SA Wested (size 40) which didn't fit. All measurements in cm. I have now the following options for a SA jacket and trying to choose between 1. Buy 80s fit, same as my previous but add 1 inch length. (I fear that the result maybe awkward). 2. Buy 80s fit, same as my previous but add 1 inch length and make the waist equal to that of the standard cut. (also maybe awkward) 3. Buy standard cut with sleeves from 80s cut. 4. Buy 80s fit size 42 (I wear 40) with sleeve length of 40. I really don't know what to do. You can vote in the poll to help me.

I think none of your options will help. I vote the same as #1, but add 1" to the FRONT length only. 'Blues

I say get one size up that you're used to and get the 80's cut. That's what I'm doing next time. I take a 42R and my first Wested was a 44R. For some reason, the 44R fits me alot better then any of the 42R I've gotten but it is the standard cut. If it were the 80's cut in a size 44R, I think I'd have exactly what I'm looking for.
