Just out of the mail, so it needs to loosen up a bit, but what do you think? My God, is it humbling to post pictures of yourself after someone like Tenyon This and Wex's jacket are some of the best looking Wested's I've seen in a while. Very nice Rick! Sorry if I missed this but what hide is that?

This and Wex's jacket are some of the best looking Wested's I've seen in a while. Very nice Rick! Sorry if I missed this but what hide is that? Here are the modifications/requests: Size 40R Dark Lamb 80s fit Cotton silesia lining 5 gauge alluminum zipper (which I supplied) Zipper extends all the way to the bottom of the jacket No leather facing on the zipper Storm flap 1 1/2 inches wide and rounded top corner Leather collar stand Standard collar Pockets 7 x 6 1/2 inches Scalloped pocket flap Side strap length 7 inches sewn with x-box pattern Two piece rectangular buckles Pleat depth 1 1/2 inches Yoke seam 1 inch higher than arm seam Inside "piped" pocket (slit/less leather) left side No gussets

Thanks Rick. That dark lamb looks great. I sometimes wish I would have gone for the lamb instead of the goatskin with mine. Whenever I get one of Todd's jackets I may get the lamb. I'll have to see his new samples first before make a final decision on that. I almost ordered the 80's fit but backed off because I didn't want the jacket to end up to tight. I like my jackets a little loose so I can move better in them.

I almost ordered the 80's fit but backed off because I didn't want the jacket to end up to tight. I like my jackets a little loose so I can move better in them. It may be semantics, but a great-fitting jacket should not allow you to move in it. It should move with you. If you bought an expertly tailored shirt, it would not restrict your movements - just cover your body so you would not get arrested at social gatherings. This jacket is the closest I have received to a perfect fit, although it is still not quite perfect.
