Rumors are swirling that she maybe playing Sophia Hapgood from the "Fate of Atlantis" game.

Hmmm.... The one site claims the name of the film is... “Indiana Jones and the ancient prophecy". To be honest I like the other title better and I hope it's true. I just don't know what to make of any of this. None of these rumors have mentioned the return of any previous cast members except for Connery.  |

Well.... I wouldn't count on there being much truth to any of the story or titles rumors, but I know you don't either. If one place prints something, everyone else assumes they must have had a reliable source. Then again.... this happens with news reports and scientific claims all the time. Preface any wild notion you have with, according to a study recently conducted..... The casting reports could be more believable at this stage, since shooting begins in June. I would they need some time to fill the roster, get fitted for costumes, learn lines, or otherwise prepare for the roles. I'm not sure how much they set aside for character pre-production, but I'll bet they are building some set pieces and such already. Ken |

With the lost ark, the temple of Doom, and the holy grail already crossed off Indy's artifact "to do" list, the seemingly most likely scenario might involve - dare I say it - the lost city of Atlantis. (But what do I know? My contest entry, "Pitfall Harry: The Adventures of The Gold Brick" didn't exactly wow 'em down at the Project Greenlight offices either - thanks for nothing, Matt and Ben!). IF the City of Gods title is for real then it could be referring to Teotihuacan which is often referred to as "The City of the God's" or more accurately according to the guys....."Where man becomes God". I guess John Rhys-Davies even did a documentary on the Aztec city. This might also involve the "Crystal Skulls" from the books as well. Of course this is all speculation but it sounds really cool and it would mean we'd see more of Indy in the jungle!!  |

Well, whether or not Cate Blanchett is in it, or Gong Li or Sheena LeSpoof...and whether the title is "City of Gods" or "Ancient Prophecy" or even "Indiana Jones and the Nursing Home of Doom", one thing seems pretty certain now: THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. I've been waiting for another Indy movie since LC left the theaters...as I'm sure most of you have as well, and it's been one hell of a long wait, with WAY too many road-blocks and "teases" along the way. I've been trying to contain any excitement about this new film for some time, as I have psyched myself up over the possibility of Indy 4 too frequently in the past when presented with some new rumors or internet gossip, only to be let down and left waiting for a few more YEARS. But this time, it looks like it's for real...FINALLY. I guess I can start to actually get excited about it again... I just hope it doesn't suck...  -GCR |
