At the Finger Lakes summit a couple of years ago, I took a few videos' of some of us taking a ride on a 1940's sea plane. On, one of my videos near the end, the video goes black, and then about ten seconds later, it resumes. I have tried to use Movie Maker on Windows to cut out this part but it doesnt recognise the file type (MP4). I've tried with VideoPad Editor but the help page isn't exactly helpful. Is there anyone out there who can get rid of the blacked out part of the video and peice the two parts together, I would be grateful. Many thanks!

Still no reply? Not even a "Problem Solved" from Canyon? Anyway, I think this website could help, if you're still having issues with the thing. Steven

Canyon? Hello? Are you reading this? May I have a little bit of acknowledgment? Like a "Thank You" or an "I don't care anymore," please? www.zamzar.com/Just if it makes things a little more clear. Steven

Firstly, I have only just seen this message through the PM, as I am not on here often. Sorry that I did not acknowledge you the first time around, but I don't appreciate being had a go at, because I didn't see the other messages, and as I have said, I haven't been around much. I was actually trying to get someone to do this on my behalf but I don't seem to be having any luck. Thanks anyway.

Sorry, Canyon. :-P All I was trying to do was get your attention. I had no idea... I gave you the link to Zamzar because that'll convert the file from MP4 to whatever you want, so you can edit it yourself on Movie Maker. Steven

As Darth Vader would say, "Apology accepted Captain Needah". ;D Sorry I lost my rag there. (That's an English saying) I guess I just haven't been around much. I might try the Zamzar programme and see what happens.

Well, thanks for not holding a grudge against me! And I use Zamzar pretty much all the time. Steven
